We broke down with a flat right in front of Tech Auto. Young man came to check the damage and installed our spare on the spot. He was polite, pleasant and capable and directed us to another place for further service. He took a stressful situation and so kindly made our day! Kudos to him and Willand's Tech Auto. Good companies hire good people!

Our car broke down near Willand's after visiting Vanderyacht park. My wife came with my son to help change the tire as I am disabled. The caps on two of the lug nuts just spun and there was no way for us to get the tire off with the tools we had. The people at Willand's were great. They were very helpful and courteous and found and inexpensive fix for our problem. We did not have to wait around long either. A problem I was worried was going to take all day and cost who knows what turned out to be less than 30 minuets and under $40.00. I am highly recommending them to everyone I know. Jonathon Hawley

Went to bring a 2000 ford contour that had a starting issue. They charged A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT. When we got the issue fixed we left the building now having an EVEN WORSE PROBLEM. The engine was misfiring. Luckily I know a little bit about cars so I inspected the plugs and wires. When I inspected the wire for the cylinder that was misfiring it looked like some STUCK A SCREWDRIVER INTO MY SPARK PLUG WIRED and messed it up. I am convinced that the mechanics at Willands purposefully did this in order to get more money out of me because the spark plug wires were fine before I even came in. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT GO TO WILLANDS.

Willands is the only place I trust when my vehicle needs repair. What I like most about them is that they are up front about costs, they explain everything they are going to do in full detail , they are fast and they only charge $10.00 a day for a vehicle loaner while your vehicle is being repaired. Everyone who works there is super friendly. You can trust Willands!

What a rip off!!! My daughter recently had an issue with her car we couldn't seem to fix. My daughter took the car here for an estimate on what it would cost and it was an utter nightmare and no work was actually done..... Estimates are not free, they don't have published rates or published shop rates posted anywhere in sight and their mechanics get paid commission based on what the shop collects meaning they will find something wrong.... So to sum it up it cost us $120.00 to get an estimate of $380.00 for a $40.00 sensor to be replaced and $750.00 for a tune up not including other noted repairs such as brakes they recommended. We opted for a 2nd opinion which proved to save us $500.00. In my eyes I would avoid this place and just stick to your local dealer. They may cost you a little more but they are not going to make up repairs or charge for estimates without telling you.

I had a starter recently replaced by Willands Tech Auto in Ferndale wa. & found out afterwards from my main mechanic (whom I couldn't reach the day my starter quit), that he had put a new starter in my car in March of this year & that it had a Lifetime Warranty. He told me there was a large sticker on it that stated "Lifetime Warranty" & any honest shop or mechanic should of & would of told me that. Instead, Willands took my starter back to O'Reillys where it was originally purchased & told them it was a core & bought a new one for $140 & in turn charged me $221.65 + tax. They also charged $18.25 for shop supplies, $47.75 for the diagnostic check, & $95.50 for labor.O'Reillys had the record of the purchase of the defective starter & has agreed to give me back the $140. , but for the $81.65 Willands charged me over for the starter, Mr. Willands himself told me it was my mistake for buying a defective starter & not his problem! His comment was "When you go to a grocery store, you don't expect to get the same price that the grocer gets for it, he has to make something!" Gee Mr. Willand, I thought that was what the diagnostic & labor charges were for! Beware folks, this is a very deceitful & dishonest man!!!
